Pappy’s Marina is the quaintest marina on the prettiest lake in the east. Pappy's offers year round campsites for sale or rent, boatdocks and cabin rentals. The marina is located at Pirates Cove on Watauga Lake which is 20 miles long, up to 300 feet deep, has 107 miles of shoreline, is the 3rd cleanest lake in the U.S. and is almost completely surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest. It is stunning! The mountains ascend as much as 1000 feet right from the waters edge. All sizes and shapes of coves make for great places to relax on the lake in privacy. |

The water temperature for swimming from May to September is very refreshing. Walleye, trout, catfish and many other species are available for catching. There are currently 35 campsites for larger campers and 50 dock slips, more to come. Queen Anne's Revenge is the total package for camping. Sailors can rent the Flying Cloud while "LandLubbers" can stay at the Wataugarosa. Various boat rentals are available. Weekend, week and month long lodging rentals are available.
